The euro crisis has dealt a powerful blow to the EU’s political system. Many European leaders have been ousted, radical parties are becoming more powerful, and fundamental questions are being asked about the future of the European Union.
Three years after the onset of the Greek crisis, what once seemed within the boundaries of economic policy-making has quickly spilled over into a make-or-break existential crisis for the EU. A broad consensus now seems to exist on the need for deeper European integration, yet numerous policy and institutional dilemmas lie ahead.
In this context, the LSE's European Institute and Policy Network are
co-organising a series of lectures entitled "Eurocrisis@LSE". The series aims to shed light on the social, political and economic forces affecting the responses to the Eurozone crisis.
These lectures are free and open to all with no ticket required. Entry is on a first come, first served basis.
