Governing the eurozone, growing Europe’s economies

On the eve of the Polish Presidency of the EU, Policy Network will hold a major roundtable symposium in Warsaw on 10th June. Organised in partnership with Demos Europa, and supported by the City of London Corporation, the focus will be on the future of European economic governance.

This event, entitled ‘Governing the eurozone, growing Europe’s economies: is a dual-speed Europe inevitable?’, will engage with a cross-party audience of senior politicians, academics, policymakers and media commentators on the central economic challenges facing the EU.

Significantly, the symposium will discuss the implications of new economic governance reform measures from the perspective of the EU-27. A key concern will be their significance for the emergence of a new ‘insider-outsider’ dynamics between Member States, as well as the impact this might have on Europe’s return to growth, the role of financial sector and other Single Market reform projects.
