The politics of climate change

  • Date(s)
    17 July 2008
  • Location
    LSE, London

In the run up to the launch of the new flagship project on the politics of climate change, Policy Network held a preparatory seminar involving politicians, policymakers, academics, commentators and colleagues from the public, private and third sectors.

The event was the first in a series of seminars, running through the autumn, which focuses on the political challenges of climate change through a “best practice” comparative analysis of the experience of industrialised countries. A conference to debate the key issues arising from this comparative analysis will be held in the new year.

A write up of the seminar proceedings and a participant list for the event is attached, along a with comprehensive briefing paper summarising key facts and data on the politics of climate change in the UK.
